SIMAC is committed to the protection and promotion of the Health and Safety of all Personnel, all Persons Served and all Visitors to our office by:

  • Taking every reasonable precaution to reduce risk and prevent injury for all personnel, all persons served and all visitors to SIMAC facilities.
  • Providing ongoing Health and Safety competency training for all personnel.
  • Inviting dialogue, without reprisal, from all persons with respect to Health and Safety matters.
  • Being committed to investigating all concerns about Health and Safety in an efficient and expedient manner.
  • Maintaining up-to-date and tested emergency and evacuation procedures and posting those procedures in key areas of our facilities.
  • Ensuring that all local, provincial and federal Health and Safety Requirements are met.
  • Reviewing our Health and Safety procedures and policies at least once annually to identify ways to improve the process and increase the health and safety of all parties.
