SIMAC’s Independent Medical Evaluations emphasize conclusions and recommendations based on the medical evidence and within a reasonable degree of medical probability and certainty.

While our primary geographic base is Ontario, SIMAC is able to fulfill referral requests in most rural and urban centres across Canada. We have established assessment locations in several major cities spanning from Ottawa to London for the convenience of our customers and their claimants.

Each report is thoroughly vetted by our Quality Assurance Team to ensure that it fully addresses all aspects of referral request and that the outcomes are clearly defined and defensible.

IME appointments are usually completed two weeks from the date of a request, although appointments inside the two-week time frame are possible for more urgent cases. While appointments may be made via telephone, requests for services can also easily be made using our online appointment request form.

SIMAC will make arrangements for claimant transportation and interpretation services as required. Our mandate is to complete each assessment with the highest level of convenience and professionalism.
